Firstly we would like to thank everyone who participated and made the day a success. Our show was held at Castle Hill Showgrounds, NSW on Sunday 18th October and many people travelled from far and wide to attend.

The show has been run and won and we all went home with the best dog!

A WSSDCA Show is all about having a good day out with your dog and like minded people and I think we achieved this! We had 22 dogs entered with their handlers including some new owners and their dogs. Whilst it was a small group of people it was a great day to network and enjoy each others company.

Our judges for the day were Iain MacDonald (conformation) and George Bartolo (obedience). Iain provided some very positive feedback regarding the development of our breed and was very impressed in the improvement since the last time he judged. He was keen to explain that the Shepherd must be bred for its purpose and not just for show. He was pleased with the conformation and movement of our dogs. I think we all enjoyed his feedback and knowledge imparted on the day.

A very big thank you to the Show Committee – Jan Kelly, Karen Vayne, Katrina MacKenzie, Kim Page Fitzpatrick, Leonie Mitchell & Neil Keen – for all their hard work that goes on behind the scene to ensure this event was a success.
